Local Organisations & Assets
Welcome to Grove Park, a neighbourhood boasting a rich history and a strong sense of community. Many of its community assets have been under threat over the years and the residents have come together many times, working tirelessly to protect and bring about change. The Grove Park Heritage Trail highlights some of Grove Park’s key community assets, all worth a visit when you are next about! A short profile of the neighbourhood, compiled by residents can be read here. In 2016, members of the community came together and formed a Neighbourhood Forum, with the purpose of working together to develop a Neighbourhood Plan. The group worked and consulted on an inspiring vision for Grove Park, and in August 2021 a referendum was held and the Neighbourhood Plan was approved.
