Summer Fete at The Ringway – July 2025
What a wonderful day we had at this year’s Summer Fete. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us as we were able to raise over £1,000 for Grove Park Community Group and The Ringway Centre. The event was a resounding success filled smiles, delicious treats and community spirit. We were honoured to welcome a very special guest, Councillor Jacq Paschoud, Speaker of Lewisham. Speaker Paschoud shared a warm moment with attendees, celebrating the vital role that The Ringway plays in the heart of Grove Park and the Lewisham community.
The Ringway grounds were full of bustling stalls selling locally made crafts and delicious food and treats. It was a joy to see everyone enjoying themselves and celebrating together, entertained by live music and performances by local dance groups. Children were particularly thrilled with the classic fete games and many went home having won their very own coconut on the coconut shy.
We would like to thank Grove Park Dog Show and Carnival committee for running a craft event, making a huge bird which will be represent The Ringway at the Grove Park Carnival.
Thank you to local business and supporters who generously provided us with prizes for our raffle and helped resource the event. We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support.
We hope that you all went home with happy memories, and maybe even a prize or two.
As always, events like this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors and the enthusiasm of all who attended.
