A team of dedicated volunteers participated in a mixture of wetland planting and habitat improvement activity in Grove Park funded by Google and the Greater London Authority’s Grow Back Greener Fund.
Thames21 and the volunteers helped create a wetland that filters chemicals and pollutants from Grove Park Ditch before they reach the River Quaggy and the rest of the Thames River watershed.

This forms part of Google’s commitment to sustainability and efficient water management contributes to the overall health of water resources, which is a key aspect of public water replenishment.
