In 2022, it was one of 27 London-based projects from the ‘Our Space initiative’,funded by Groundworks and Tideway London, designed to ‘clean and green’ the city, with the aim to help Londoners improve their communities through active local engagement and increase a sense of ownership over shared spaces.
A group of volunteers on the Tideway Project joined us on May 8th to kick start the project, clearing ivy and bramble to make way for our new pond, rain garden and woodland habitat enhancements.
