Our gardening and nature after school sessions are designed to spark curiosity\, creativity\, and a life-long love of the natural world. \nWHEN and WHERE: \n\nJoin us on Thursdays from September 11th till 23rd October 2025 for some gardening and nature fun!\nThe after-school club runs from 3.30 till 5pm during the term.\nAll sessions take place at The Ringway Centre\, 268 Baring Road\, SE12 0DS.\nPickup may be possible from some schools\, please email us to discuss.\nThe sessions are appropriate for children from 5 to 11 years old.\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT: \n\nEach week we explore different topics through adventure learning.\nLearning is reinforced through fun outdoor games\, exploring nature\, gardening (sowing\, planting\, and tasting)\, story telling and arts and crafts\, as well as free play.\nThe children get to taste what they have grown\, or take home what they have created or planted during the session.\nThe aim of the sessions is to connect children to nature in fun\, inclusive and inspiring ways\, helping to create life-long positive habits. Research shows that time spent in nature supports healthy cognitive development and encourages curiosity\, creativity\, and care for the environment. With every session\, children grow not only in knowledge\, but also in confidence\, imagination\, and a love for the world around them.\n\nWHAT TO BRING: \n\nAll sessions will be outside during this period.\nWe may get a little messy.
