This is our largest hall, a popular space as it has its own kitchen, toilet facilities and exit to the garden. It can be rented by local groups and organisations for meetings and activities.

Versatile Uses
Today during weekdays the room is regularly used by U3A Art and U3A Bridge, The Lacemakers, Tess Tutorials, as well as our volunteer-led Grove Park Community Choir, Open Mic Nights and Folk Workshops. Various faith groups also use the Main Hall, both during the week and on Sundays. The Main Hall is the main focus for events organised by Grove Park Community Group volunteers, anything from Children’s Discos to Afternoon Tea Dances. At weekends the Main Hall is an ideal venue for children’s birthday parties.

Take a Break Café – Every Friday
Every Friday afternoon the room is transformed into the Take a Break Café with a simple lunch menu and live music. Over the past six/seven years the café has become a popular meeting place – a real go-to place – for local residents and musicians.
