Woodwork Shed

Formerly a garage, this is a fully equipped space for woodwork, for community use.  

The garage was converted and equipped in 2014/2015 using lottery funding obtained from People’s Millions, following a successful voting campaign.   

As part of the project, a series of woodcarving sessions were held in the shed, and some local residents tried their hand at woodturning. 

Today, a volunteer carpenter is present in the Woodwork Shed every Monday and Friday afternoon, willing and able to help and guide anyone who wishes to create or mend an article made of wood.
