Sonja’s Macmillan coffee morning brought people together on Monday 28 September, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support through a well-attended community event.
Held from 11am–2pm, the fundraiser received generous support from those who came along and contributed. It was an opportunity to spend time with neighbours while supporting a charity that helps people affected by cancer.
Organising a community fundraiser takes preparation, coordination and care. Sonja’s work gave everyone an opportunity to contribute, and the response showed how much can be achieved when people support a shared cause.

The event raised a substantial sum for Macmillan Cancer Support. Just as importantly for our local community, it brought people together around a cause that touches many lives.
