Could planting or a community clean-up improve a neglected corner near you? Love Lewisham Micro Grants can support practical projects that make shared neighbourhood spaces cleaner, greener and more welcoming.
Lewisham residents aged 18 or over can apply for £200. Constituted community groups and local organisations can apply for £500, with enhanced grants of £500–£1,000 for larger projects. Residents seeking more than £200 need a constituted Community Organisation Partner to receive and manage the funding.
Start by identifying the location, explaining the problem and setting out your idea. Prepare an itemised budget and evidence of costs, then read the guidance and complete the online application.
Before applying for planters or work on public or shared land, email community.funding@lewisham.gov.uk with your idea and location to check permissions. Include how the space will be maintained.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 27 November 2026. Funded projects are scheduled for delivery from February to 31 May 2027.
Visit the Love Lewisham Micro Grants page for guidance and the application form.
